Under “About” it was explained that GSC’s background began in commercial and industrial building construction,
steel and concrete design, nuclear power plant containment design, CAD/CAE,
graphics and advanced finite-element design, civil engineering, cartography,
transportation planning, and pioneering GIS applications;
also steam boilers and controls systems and hydronic systems.
This was followed by a focus on computer systems and peripherals, medical imaging for cardiac nuclear medicine,
software product development, and laboratory automation.
This provided extensive experience as an equipment and automation vendor.
Later GSC’s focus has returned to construction, construction management, structural adequacy of facilities,
automated manufacturing machinery, warehouses, crane rails, standby power, piping, and piping supports.
This also included becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) able to perform the regulated aspects
of plant design and construction and extensive training in structural, mechanical, power, signals,
piping, and fire-protection engineering.
